Microbot Medical develops robotic devices in the interventional endovascular space that provides doctors and surgeons with new technological capabilities to improve a patient’s health, comfort, and quality of life.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our team. We are on a mission to revolutionize endovascular procedures, promoting procedure advancements and ensuring equitable care. As a Software Engineer at Microbot Medical, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the success and growth of our innovative technologies and building the company’s position in the robotic surgery space. Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for the software development and implementation of our medical robotic technology. They will be responsible for developing and embedding the patented technology in our robot. They will be given an opportunity to improve and expand the existing technology while supporting testing and HW activities. This will involve the application of engineering principles, technical skills, teamwork, and creative problem solving to deliver high quality, innovative medical devices.

Experience and requirements:

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in SW Engineering/ Computer Science from a well-known university or equivalent.
  • Over 3 years of experience as software embedded engineer with the following qualifications:
    • Knowledge in software languages: 
      • C – proficient.
      • Python – must.
      • C++, Java, Kotlin, C#, Dart – nice to have.
    • Must have experience with low level and drivers programming.
    • Experience in SPI, UART, I2C, TCP, UDP, etc. – nice to have.
    • Knowledge of RF communication protocols (WiFi, BLE, SUBG) – nice to have.
    • Knowledge in IAR or equivalent tools.
  • Experience in the medical devices industry – a significant advantage.
  • Must be a team-player but capable of handling a project end to end.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
