CEO, President and Chairman

Mr. Gadot is a co-founder of Microbot Medical and has been serving as the CEO since its inception and the Chairman of the Board since 2013. He is also the Chairman of XACTRobotics Ltd., another promising medical robotics company, specializing in the field of needle steering for medical procedures such as biopsies. Until 2013, Mr. Gadot was a board member at ConTIPI Ltd. Which was acquired in 2012 by Kimberly Clark. Prior to founding Microbot Medical, Mr. Gadot served as a Worldwide Group Marketing Director at Johnson & Johnson (Ethicon Inc., Somerville NJ), overseeing the company's global strategic marketing. Prior to this, he was the Regional Marketing Manager at Johnson & Johnson (Ethicon Inc., Paris, France), responsible for the strategic marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa. During his tenure, both companies enjoyed continuous growth in revenues and new product launches. Prior to this, Harel held several management positions in marketing and sales at Johnson & Johnson Medical Israel. Mr. Gadot is a guest speaker for management and innovation courses at leading universities in the United States and Israel, and holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Siena College (USA) and a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Manchester University (UK).

Mr. Sharon is a seasoned medical device executive with over 30 years of industry experience. Prior to rejoining Microbot, Simon served as the Chief Technology Officer at MEDX Xelerator, an Israel-based medical device and digital health incubator with partners such as Boston Scientific Corporation and Intellectual Ventures. He was also the Chairman of the Scientific Board at XACT Robotics, a private Israeli company developing a novel platform robotic technology for needle steering in minimally invasive interventional procedures. Prior to this, Mr. Sharon held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Microbot Medical Ltd. before it became a publicly traded company. Prior to joining Microbot in 2013, Mr. Sharon was the Vice President of Research & Development with IceCure Medical, a TASE traded company developing a portfolio of cryogenic ablation systems. Prior to IceCure, he held roles of increasing responsibility at Rockwell Automation–Anorad Israel Ltd, a leading linear motor-based, precision positioning equipment manufacturer. Prior to Rockwell, Simon was the Research & Development Manager at Disc-O-Tech Medical Technologies Ltd., a private orthopedic venture that was acquired by Kyphon (currently part of Medtronic), and before this was the Research & Development Manager at CI Systems, a worldwide supplier of a wide range of electro-optical test and measurement equipment.

Dr. Juan Diaz-Cartelle will lead the development and execution of the clinical strategy of the Company's technology platforms including LIBERTY products as well as its future pipeline. Dr. Diaz-Cartelle is an experienced medical device executive and a vascular surgeon. Prior to Microbot he served as Senior Medical Director for the Peripheral Interventions Division at Boston Scientific for 14 years where he oversaw, among other projects, the development of the drug eluting clinical program for peripheral vascular, acted as the medical liaison with global regulatory agencies, led the medical safety department and advised the division’s M&A group. Most recently he was the Executive Medical Director at Haemonetics, where he advised the company in new investments in the cardiovascular space and led the Medical Affairs department. Dr. Diaz-Cartelle obtained his medical degree at the University of Navarra (Spain) and completed his specialty in Angiology and Vascular Surgery at Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Maranon in Madrid (Spain).

Mrs Vaknin is a CPA licensed in the state of Israel. She has more than 20 years' experience in finance and operations. Prior to joining Microbot Medical, she was CFO for a company in the autonomous driving sector and some of her primary duties included budget planning and forecasts, preparation for financial due diligences and fundraising. From 2004 to 2016, she has held various finance roles of increasing importance for Mellanox Technologies Ltd., a multinational supplier of computer networking products based on InfiniBand and Ethernet technology, and prior to that she worked at BDO – Ziv & Haft, a leading worldwide accounting firm. Rachel holds a CPA and a BA in Economy and Accounting from Jerusalem Hebrew University.

Later he founded Global Versa Radiology (GVR), an Israeli and U.S. based Teleradiology Company that has expanded reach to provide Interventional Radiology services to U.S. hospitals. Dr. Morag has served as GVR's Chief Medical Officer and Vice-President. Prior to joining Microbot Medical, Dr Morag served as Chairman of Radiology at Assuta Ashdod Medical Center, Ashdod, Israel. Until 2017, he served as the Regional Radiology Director at Mercy Health Partners Hospitals in Toledo, Ohio. He was a member of University Radiology Group (one of the largest private Radiology groups in the U.S.) where he headed the International Investment efforts for the Ventures division. Dr. Madoff is Professor of Radiology and Medical Oncology, Vice Chair for Clinical Research and Section Chief of Interventional Radiology at Yale School of Medicine. He is world-renowned for his work on preoperative portal vein embolization, a technique used to improve the safety of major hepatic resection. He has been an invited speaker at numerous national and international meetings, authored or co-authored over 170 peer-reviewed scientific articles, written more than 30 book chapters, and served as co-editor of four textbooks. He serves as founding co-Editor-in-Chief for Digestive Disease Interventions, was Deputy Editor for Radiology and Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, sits on the editorial boards for additional publications related to imaging, interventions, and cancer, and is an active participant within several radiological societies (RSNA, ARRS, SIR, SIO, AUR, ARRT). Based on his important contributions to the field, Dr. Madoff was elected Fellow of SIR, ACR and CIRSE. Dr. Madoff earned his MD from the University of Pittsburgh and completed both his internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Radiology at SUNY at Stony Brook. Dr. Flacke joined Lahey Clinic in Boston in 2007 as Chief of Interventional Radiology and Director of non-invasive Cardiovascular Imaging and has since greatly expanded the interventional and cardiovascular program. At Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, Dr. Flacke introduced the radioembolization program, strategies for coil marking to support targeted surgery, various image guided treatment approaches and led more than 20 trials as Principal Investigator. Dr. Flacke is Professor of Radiology at Tufts University Medical School, and his main clinical focus is minimal invasive cancer treatment with a focus on liver treatment strategies. He is a member of various professional societies, has contributed to various textbooks and authored more than 100 original papers. He received his M.D. and PhD from the University of Bonn, Germany and his post-graduate fellowship training in Bonn, Germany and at Washington University in St. Louis, USA. He is trained and Board certified in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, and neuroradiology, including interventional neuroradiology.

Dr. Wakhloo is an internationally renowned Interventional Neuroradiologist. Dr. Wakhloo directs the Neurointerventional Radiology program at Beth Israel Lahey Health, Lahey Hospital and Medical Center and is Professor at Tufts University Medical School. He received his medical degree from the University of Mainz, Germany, where he also received his Ph.D. He completed a fellowship in interventional Neuroradiology at the University of Freiburg, Germany and an Endovascular Neurosurgery fellowship in the department of Neurosurgery at SUNY-Buffalo. Dr. Wakhloo has been the principal investigator or co-investigator on numerous grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), American Heart Association (AHA), private foundations and industry. He has over 500 publications, presentations, and abstracts, including 2 books on stroke treatment, and about 300 peer reviewed articles and book chapters. He has been the recipient of numerous scientific awards and honors, among others Whitaker Bioengineering Research Foundation Award, German Society of Neuroradiology and Society of Vascular Interventional Neurology Innovation Award. He was named a Fellow of the American Heart Association and the Stroke Council in 2009. He holds several US patents for neurovascular devices. Dr. Wakhloo pioneered the field of flow diversion, the newest technology for the minimally invasive treatment of brain aneurysms. He has been the central figure in the commercial development of this technology, which in 2018 received from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) a premarket approval (PMA). He was also the first to introduce and publish in 2008 the concept of using a retrievable stent to remove an embolus for the treatment of stroke which is currently the standard endovascular treatment for acute ischemic stroke. He has been a founder and has served as CEO and CMO of various medical device companies. Dr. Wakhloo has, throughout his career, been dedicated to teaching and mentoring faculty, fellows, and residents from various disciplines as well as supervising doctoral students and serving as a research adviser to individuals throughout their research careers.

He is a distinguished publisher and lecturer who has spearheaded experimental work focused on the treatment of patients with lower urinary tract infection associated with prostate growth by Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). Professor Little is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist and Radiology Research Lead within the University Department of Radiology, Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, Reading, UK. He has an international reputation for his embolotherapy research, which he undertakes alongside his busy IR clinical practice. He is leading the first European studies investigating GAE in the treatment of knee OA, and is UK CI for PROstate, an international study investigating long term outcomes of PAE. Prof Little's research group have recently gained grant funding to investigate the neuro-psychological factors correlating with failure to adhere to a day-case UAE pathway. He graduated with distinction from Norwich medical school prior to his foundation training in Cambridge and became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in 2011 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2014. Dr. O'Sullivan is a Consultant Radiologist with over 25 years' experience in Interventional Radiology, having qualified as a doctor from University College Cork. Having obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians, he entered Radiology in the UK and trained in Derriford Hospital, Plymouth UK followed by St. Georges University Hospital, London, UK. He then worked as a Fellow at Stanford University Medical Center and followed this as a Consultant at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois. Since 2002, he has worked at Galway University Hospitals and the Galway Clinic, where he has been the Clinical Director of Radiology since 2020. He performs approximately 50% Interventional Radiology and specializes in venous disease with particular expertise in deep venous thrombus removal, IVC reconstruction and IVC filter indications, placement etc. Annually, he performs large volumes of prostate and uterine fibroid embolizations as well as the full range of Interventional procedures. He is a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), a Fellow of the European Board of Interventional Radiology and the primary author in multiple publications concerning the deep venous system. He serves on the Executive Committee of CIRSE and is Vice Chair of the Scientific Program Committee (SPC) for the CIRSE's Annual Meeting, the largest global meeting in IR. Dr. O'Sullivan is an Examiner for the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) and the Lead for Interventional Radiology Saolta Group.

From November 2006, Mr. Burell served as Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of CombiMatrix Corporation (NASDAQ: CBMX), a publicly traded diagnostics laboratory, until it was acquired by Invitae Corporation (NYSE: NVTA) in November 2017. Prior to this, Mr. Burell had served as CombiMatrix's Vice President of Finance and Controller since February 2001. From May 1999 to February 2001, Mr. Burell was the Controller for Network Commerce, Inc., (NASDAQ: SPNW), which was a publicly traded technology and information infrastructure company located in Seattle. Prior to this, Mr. Burell spent nine years with Arthur Andersen's Audit and Business Advisory practice in Seattle. During his tenure in public accounting, Mr. Burell worked with many clients, both public and private, in the high-tech and healthcare markets, and was involved in numerous public offerings, spin-offs, mergers and acquisitions.
