Objective:

Microbot is seeking an experienced Software Engineer. The successful candidate will join a dynamic company and will report to the Company’s CTO. They will be responsible for the software development of a medical robot in a fast-growing environment. This will involve the application of engineering principles, technical skills, teamwork, and creative problem solving to deliver high quality, innovative medical devices intended to improve patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for the software development of a medical robot
Develop embedded code
Support testing and evaluate for quality and risk
HW activities
Requirements:

Sc. in SW Engineering/ Computer Science from a well-known university or equivalent
Over 5 years of experience in the field
Experience in Robotics and or motion systems
Knowledge software languages: C, C++, Java, Kotlin, Python, C#, Dart.
Knowledge of RF communication protocols (WIFI, BLE, SUBG).
Experience in HW related SW development
Experience in SPI, UART, I2C, TCP, UDP, etc.
Knowledge of SW development tools (IAR, Simplicity Studio, VS Code, Android Studio, PyCharm).
Experience in in the medical device industry – a significant advantage.
Must be a team player
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in English
